Here is my old Evo dyno graph. See how the whole graph is shifted to the right in comparison to the 335d one?
In-fact i would go on to say that a 350 BHP / 550 LB-FT 335 would easily match a 400 BHP / 400 LB-FT Evo, in real life conditions, simply because it has much more useable power. Last edited by 3sgte; 11-15-2014 at 04:08 AM.. Reason: Missed Link |

Mine, they are awesome cars mines sitting on 40 Mpg for a while now on not the best roads. Can't best performance and Mpg, they said with an equivalent petrol car if same weight you need at least 50 bhp to out accelerate something like a tuned 335d.
371bhp/556 lb ft, it's making 475lb ft at 4200 rpm. Mods are dpf delete, swirl flap removal, egr off, air guides for air intake. It was 288 bhp stock. Stan has done over 20 335ds now best he seen with my setup was 378 bhp. I think a cai is a waste of time unless it can bring colder air in, the air guides are in a unrestricted location in a high pressure zone so unlikely to be improved upon, that and diesels run on excess air and the pleated air filter isn't short on flow/surface area - panel filters are often worse. I'll put my neck on the line and imo I don't think the wagner IC will yield much if any more power however it will bring consistent power. You reckon I could take an fq360, 3gse? I easily out accelerated a my09 wrx sti remapped which was 330 bhp. My s2000 absolutely destroyed my 335d from 30mph but it's hardly standard I've a few fast Jap cars myself so know where your coming from. Cheers Last edited by Ajs_435d; 11-15-2014 at 04:56 AM.. |

I have a mate with a 380 brake evo 7 , from.a rolling start we match pace to 150 then I pull away slightly ,I Co run a club called area57 (has about 700 members on facebook) we do drives and track days plus many other events , we have everything from corsas to big power R35 GTR's so I get plenty of runs with other cars for comparisons ...its amazing how the R35's pull away though , those things are insane

There similar to a diesel. Tons of low end torque, yet unlike a diesel it pulls up top too. So in effect it has a powerband of around 5000 rpm of full torque before power drops off significantly. Our 335d's have a good usable power band of around 2500rpm. |
