a photog friend of mine that will be coming with me will be taking the photos for us since the other photog had something come up. He wanted me to ask everyone that will be coming if you guys would like some shots with a wide angle lens? He doesn't have one but knows of a place where he can rent one. If everyone chips in a few bucks, he can go ahead and rent one for the shoot. he said it would cost around $40-60 to rent it.
Let me know if you guys are interested in that..

i don't have a wide-angle that tight, I've got an 18-55mm EOS Digital... the 10mm would be sweet for the wide though. Does anyone have L-Series lense???

I found out yesterday that Antonio CAN make it for the shoot. My neighbor is checking on wether or not we can get 12 cars in. Unfortunately, he thinks we are capped at 8 for now. That being the case, I may have to ask someone to step out this round. Antonio has done a tremendous job for us so far and I think it's only fair to get him back in. Especially when he's driving down from Savanna for us! Don't worry about it until I get an answer on how many we can get in. We WILL most likely be doing this again in the next couple months. If we can't get everyone in, those that can't get in will have priority next time.

We'll also be working on another meet and shoot somewhere towards the end of April. Looking for a place to host us so if you have any ideas, please speak up. I've got a neighbor with some great dj equipment that'll take care of the tunes!

What time do you think the shoot will happen, do I need to bring flashes with light stands and radios or just cameras, tripod and lenses? Let me know.

One photoshoot I've always wanted to do is on top of the Downtown Library Parking garage an hour before sunset. That parking garage is normally empty on the top deck after 5 and there's a couple of cool possibilities. (just a thought)

I have the 17-40mm L F4, 24-70mm L F2.8 and 70-200mmIS L F2.8, but the 17-40mm L series with a full frame sensor camera will do the job. Some distortion will occur, but nothing that can't be fixed on post production or a tilt lense.

How about this location? http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=444239, we could close that little street for a litte while and form all the cars with the JAX back drop or by the farmers maket on riverside avenue under the I-95 bridge. Just some ideas.

Probably just meet up at my house. We did a quick test on getting in and didn't have to get a pass. Not sure if we'll need to have an escort that has military id though, I had someone with military id with me today. Took a lot of pics with the Tomcat that's on display in the background. Should have them up tonight.

E90, i probably live the closest to you. if you want to meet at my house then we can go to brett's house from there. I live just off of 9A before you go over the Dames Point bridge that would take you into town..

hey B, you probably need to investigate if every car would need a base escort. Every time we do work at NAS, at least one on each car needed a badge.

My neighbor will most likely be running back and forth to escort everyone in. We didn't have to get a pass at least when we drove my car in. I can probably get someone else to help with the escort also.
