The Superman combo.
I am 100% set on Coral Red. I have AW on order, but everyone and their mother has an AW coupe. Montego is my next favorite exterior...
Now I've seen the superman in person, and I liked it. This should be the only thing that matters. Pictures do not do it justice in my opinion. So...is there any reason not to make the switch to Superman? Has anyone actually seen the combo in person and disliked it? Many people cannot get over the mental block of such a bold combination, but I'm curious to see if that thought lasts after seeing it in real life. The only negatives I can think of is hearing from people about getting a so-called 50k "clown car". I can probably deal with that. The other negative I can think about is the rarity of the car will wear off after a few months. Also, it will be a 2 year lease so resale is not an issue. I'm also thinking maybe try this crazy combo while I'm young.

I realize also how subjective this is, but I am looking for feedback on reasons I may have not thought of on why I should abstain from switching my order. Reaching a broad audience like this is very helpful in possibly identifying reasons that may have never came to me

If I had known the superman was possible when I ordered the car, I may have gotten it. I thought those X's on BMWUSA meant you couldn't order it, not that you had to be batshit crazy to order it. If it's a lease resale doesn't matter either, so I say go for it.

Only a 2-year lease, I'd say go for it.
Besides, I don't think it's that bold of a combo anyways. The Montego is the loud part of it.

I say you just get what you want MOST. It's your $, get what you like best. You can always add a few cosmetic mods to make your ride stand out alittle more than all the others. Even if just once, you see an alpine white coupe while sitting in your montego blue coupe and say yourself "wow, that looks hot. I should've gotten white", you made a bad decision for yourself.

I went with a red on red coupe, very bold choice but i love it and its a 2-yr lease as well so resale is not an issue. I say go for it, it was my second option but i couldnt get myself to NOT get red on red

I LOVE AW!
But like you said, it's very common. It's also free. Then again, the Superman is an eye catcher and really nothing to lose. That's the thing i LOVE about short term leases! |

I was considering Montego with Coral as well, but, then I saw a Montego E92 on the road, and since it's a darker color, you can easily see a layer of dust gathering on the car. So unless you aren't anal about keeping your car clean and looking good, you will probably have to wash it once a week at minimum since you live in SoCal.
I chose to go with TiAg with Coral.. since you can't really see dust on TiAg, and it always looks fairly clean. |

Ironically the Montego would be chaper for me because I would do less cosmetic mods than I would on the AW. Not a big difference though.
