07 e92 335i F/R Brake replacements
Hey Guys,
I just replaced my front and rear brakes today and they are already squeaking and the bite feels different then before. Seems I have to press down harder to stop. I ordered the genuine BMW brakes from ECS tunning did they switch up the brake componds? Feel free to chime in. |

Did you clean the calipers really well? Did you use high temp lube on all pad contact areas? Did you replace or machine rotors? Lastly, did you break in your pads properly?

I had it done by a shop so I'm not sure if they actually cleaned the calipers or applied any of the brake paste. I bought a litter of ATE super blue and asked them to do a flush also but they said to bring my car in another day since they were swamped with other cars. I'm in the process of bedding the brakes now so hopefully it will be back to normal. I'm hoping the front brake pads are OEM and not some after markets because they didn't come in a small brake box like the rears did.
