Moroso Caravan and BBQ March 28th

Hey Everyone! Spring Break is right around the corner. Why not start it out with a good night of racing, some BBQ, and a good opportunity to show off your car. This is not just for e90post or BMW's. Any kind of car is welcome.

Well Meet up at the Tower Shops at 4:15 then PROMPTLY leave at 4:30 and caravan to Moroso Motorsports Park In Jupiter about an hour and a half drive. Races start at 6:00 and end at 11:00.

In order to race you must have a valid driver's license (A Notarized Waiver of Liability if under 18- Email me for this) Seat Belts, A helmet if going under a 13.99 (so I definitely need one), long pants and closed toe shoes, and if running Nitrous bottles must be stamped DOT 1,800- Pound standard.

There is a fee of $20 dollars to race or $13 to watch. If you are coming please decide on an item of food to bring so we can make the BBQ a reality. All cars are welcome to come Muscle to Japanese to Euro Tuner.

I’m hoping to see a lot of you out there so please RSVP soon so I can get this a little more organized. Email me if you need a Waiver. DON’T FORGET TO INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!

I'll have my new exhaust by then too so it should be really nice to hear it at WOT. Mike also said he'd be coming maybe jacque too ill ask him friday when i see him.

If my car is back up and running I may.. It will probably/Definately be without a tune but with new DPs, CAI, and Forge DVs

i thought you were a strong advocate for BOVs? Unless that was just becasue forge had not released their DVs yet.

I was always AGAINST Bovs... i hate the sound.. I think they are good on Automatics but crap on manuals. I was, however, an advocate of larger charge pipes. I put them on cause originally the CAI couldn't clear the stock DVs. And at that time there were no DV's available. Now there are and well it was time to start over.. so, I just sold everything off my car and took the $$ and put it towards new (and i believe improved) parts. Kept Intercooler and catback exhaust.. Tune is the only thing I am gonna hold off on. Not exactly sure what I want to do just yet.

the improved DV i better than a BOV?

i have an auto and was thinking about gettng a BOV, i dont mind the sound, besides that what makes a DV bettER?

It recirculates the pressue as opposed to "blowing" it off into the atmosphere. Recirculate pressure means it gets rcycled and the turbos don't have to build it up from scratch all over again. People who have had BOVs and then went back to stock or to forge DVs say that they notice better throttle response with the DVs.

I may or may not go, haven't decided yet. Isn't that a little early to be at Towers though?

dv's hold boost better. Bov you actually lose power, a minute amount that more than likely isn't noticeable to most but the loss is there.

No the drive is about an hour to an hour and a half.

I guess I am bad at conveying what I mean. I meant at Towers, I usually show up around 8 or so and I don't know if anyone is going to be there around 430ish. Just my 2 cents though.

Do you think you'll be under 12 sec. Hallendale? I know that at the CB Smith Park meet you told me you were maybe at 12 flat with your then current setup and it looks like you've modded even more since then...

no same mads i think ill run very low twelves i have the same setup well see its all about if i can get any traction. I might have a set of Drag slicks that nigh so im hoping.
