comfort access without executive pkg?
I got a quote from local bmw dealer, to order an comfort access with out the PKG on 2009 335i coupe will cost $750+$400"speical order fee".
is this ture? |

Yes it is true... Which is why they package it with other options to make it more attractive to the buyer.
If you just want CA you have to pay to play. |

Yup... sucks to be a Canuck sometimes. I decided not to get the Exec package. Too many things I wouldn't use:
Compass Mirror - I have Navi and I think I have a good sense of direction Comfort Access - I think I can press the open button and put in the key. Besides, I hear tint can be an issue and I'm definitely tinting my car. Homelink - My condo apparently has an uncrackable garage door opener RPS - Kinda kills the clean look but it's very convenient. Investigating the backup camera option. Alarm - I thought our cars were pre-wired. Should have read the forums more. Now I'm somewhat SOL. Auto Dimming Folding Mirrors - My friend with an M3 likes the folding aspect but not so much the dimming aspect. Kinda cool but my parking spaces at home and work are huge. So yeah if CA is really necessary, you might as well fork out the $2200 on the Exec Pack.
