E93 spacer kits.... any one got them?
I know there are loads of threads about these and I was about to order from Chris at ******** and a concern came up.
I have M Sport 330i convertible and have just fitted new tyres and have gone 265 at the rear and 235 at the front. I was going to fit 15mm all round as this seems the standard amount to do. When discussing with Chris he was unsure about wheel rub as the rear end is heavier on an E93 plus my slight oversized tyres. I think he mentioned the clearance was different compared to other E9X models. I put a ruler against the tyre and there is not much room when you take a straight line across the tyre up to the wing I know the wheels "fold in" under load etc but my question is has anyone had any problems with 12mm or 15mm on an E93 with 265 and 235 tyres? Cheers Jon |

I'll assume 19" (225-MV4's), so wheels will have an offset of ET39 rear and ET37 front. With the larger tyres, I'd advise going no more than 10mm on the rear which will give you an offset of ET29. Even with ET29 you might have some tyre rubbing issues with a full load (rear passengers, undulating road surfaces etc)

Thanks for the reply. Funny enough I fitted the spacers yesterday and the rears rub
I went for 12mm as that was the smallest that ******** did but it just didn't work. I tried, I failed and yes I have the MV4's Jon |
