Anyone try a MS Zune 2.0 with 6FL/iPOD dock?

I was wondering if the play lists show up and if you can control it with the steering wheel controls?

I think I read that someone got all the controls and display with a regular 2.5" external HD. I was just wondering if it would work with a Zune 2.0?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

are the jacks the same for the ipod and zune? or do you mean using the usb plug? I'd be interested in finding out if someone who had the usb adapter just use their system link cord for the zune and plug it all together and had it working.

I'm still deciding whether or not I want to add a 6 disc changer vs a usb interface added on for my e92

Devices other than the iPod can only work with 6FL as mass storage devices. I don't know if Zunes can be accessed as mass storage devices. If they can, then the steering wheel controls will work.

Get the USB instead of the Changer. You can buy an external HDD (120-160GB) for about $100.00 now and you can put more music that way

I was thinking that too. I'm currently using a Creative Muvo mp3 player that's basically a usb drive and am hoping that works. I'm gonna ask my dealer how much it's gonna cost to add it to my bimmer when it gets delivered. atm its still only scheduled for production though ><
