Carnauba wax purchase

Used this dealer to buy snowfoam a few weeks ago and just bought this carnauba wax from him.

Ebay Item number: 320382497462

CarChemValetingProducts

Very fast delivery and a helpful guy.
Based in Dudley area and appears they have a trade counter as well as other stuff not listed on ebay

Haven't polished my car yet but have tried it on sections of my van (silver) and wife's cooper (met blue) and first impressions are very good.

Easy to apply and very easy to polish to a great shine.

Paid £25 delivered for 5 litres and looks good value.

Shit

You could buy a car for that

I agree but I've also seen it from the other side as I ran 2 companies who were selling supposedly quality products at premium prices and I know they were off the same production line as others selling at 20% of the price.
I didn't like it at all tbh but a family has to eat!

I bought it 'cause I have a van which I keep well polished and will use it up if I'm not happy with it on the cars. Also 2 grown up kids who are always happy to accept donations and aren't bothered as long as it's free.

Anyway I think it might work as a top up on the base sealants - time will tell

Yeah I know, never drink and ebay..let that be a lesson to you!

Stuff I got is good, Dodo juice Supernatural and the water sheeting and beading is excellent.

I have a trade card for maccess and the prices they sell for in there compared to Halfrauds is amazing! I bought a 5 litre tub of Autoglym superglym, for £32, 1 litre of SRP is halfrauds is £16 ish.

Even try the Autoglym hardwax over the topof it, it should protect it even more.

For wax; for me it HAS to be collinite 915. Gets so much better affect than any other wax I've tried (6 or 7.. )

There is a test of waxes on the web somewhere, cant remember where. But a guy waxed the side of a coach with a variety of waxes (20) in 2ft sq panels, including expensive stuff and the colinite 915. he left it for 6 months, checking every month to see if it was still protecting. Collinite 915 was still beading as new 6 months later along with about 3-4 others. Some of the expensive stuff was done in about 1-2 months.
I have only used it twice, but it leaves a good shine and just keeps on going. The beading is sensational.

Its my favourite wax out of all them, Ive got god only knows how many tubs of other waxes (collinite, P21 etc) and concours is still the one I like to use on my car. On dark/Black colours is leaves a really nice wet looking finish. Also adds a nice depth to the paint.

Applied Colli 915 earlier in the week and washed the car today. I agree, really good wax - I just hope it lasts for a few months and helps stop bird poo from "sticking".

I have left 915 for up to 6 months, but after 3-4 probably best to start thinking about a new coat.

A flock of ostriches covered roof/one side of car the other week when I was parked at a hotel - it was a shocking mess

As I was away, I couldnt clean it off for a couple of days. The bird poop came off easier from the paintwork then it did the side glass!
915 was last applied at end of April and most importantly no damage to paintwork

Good to know. Washed the car yesterday and after the rain overnight it still looks pretty good now that its dried up - no noticeable rain/water marks left!

As for the glass - I'm really pleased with Rain X on the side and rear windows.
