angel eyes no longer lighting up when unlocking??

Hi everyone

Is there a reason why my angel eyes have stopped lighting up and fading when I unlock my car? They used to but have stopped for the past 2 ish years? I believe the settings are right. Like welcome light and how long its on for?

Thanks heaps

Cheers

It's usually caused by low battery voltage. The car conserves power by not turning these on if voltage too low.

Did you happen to have a 1JZ IS200 prior to your 335i?

Damn this is happening in my E92 now although I've suspected low battery for a while. How much did the battery change up cost you OP? Any downside to just getting RACV batteries to do it? Thanks!

I bought a bosch s5 battery for ~ $150 fitted and it comes with 5 years warranty (you need a big beefy battery in the bmw's due to the tv and all the electronics) my local bmw dealer was quoting $700 odd by memory...

Also you have to have the car coded when you get the new battery fitted as it has a variable rate charge cycle. Most indys can do this for you.
