BMW 320 d consumption
Hey guys,
I recently started driving a 320 d, and I don't know if it is normal, but when I drive in city it consumes 11 liters per 100 km. Is this how it should be, or its just my car? Thanx |

stop and go in the city can cause a consumtion about 11 liters. this is a normal thing also with other cars. over all you should have a cumsumtion between 6 and 7 liters. belongs to your routes. mine is @ 6,4

11 l sounds a bit much. I've been driving one for a week now, half country side and half stop&go commute, and it sits on 6.5 l

320d 177hp: 5.5 l/100km
320d 177hp: 5.5 l/100 km average
My 2007 320d has 177 hp, and the "efficient dynamics" features. City comsumption will go to the 5.9 litres, and my last trip from Cadiz to Gijon (1.000 km) was a real pleasure: new highways, VERY HOT temperature OUTSIDE (i.e.: full use of air conditioned), and tipically running at 140 km/hour (not really legal...). Even under those conditions we've got our own 5.2 litres/100 km record! Greetings from Spain! |
