So I snapped a few quick pics of the car, fresh wash, new shoes...

Should I post them though? That is the question....

I like them. I don't love them. The curves and roofline of the e93 are so slightly different not to mention the additional lines from the different panels and hinge points. I feel like it's just enough to make the wheel pattern not flow with the car. The chrome is more bold than I expected too. Stands out very sharply while parked. Haven't seen them while driving...

The only day picture to transfer off of my corrupt memory card was this one!

Just took some a few minutes ago. This point and shoot has three ISO modes, it sucks but it gets the job done.

The rims don't look so bad one the tires were mounted and the vert got off the jack stands!

Can't wait till I see it I would love to watch that roof mechanism work!

How long does it take to retract?

We finally had a nice day today in WNY ... 70-75*F, sunny. I was out cruising with all windows down and the sunroof open, felt soo good. First time I've been able to comfortably do it with my E92!! (delivered in March). Radio turned off, the exhaust is much better.
I agree it was a great day for a spirited drive!!!

Pics look good Kevin, better than I thought it would when I first saw the wheels. Seems to go well with the color of your car. Those wheels definitely stand out.

Your lights look great.

Gotta love a 5:30am cancellation for a 6:30 am appointment start.

AMASIAN - they look pretty good. Any chance you can snap some more daylight shots? I love the mesh though, and the the way the front fills up the well looks great. Though, they do actually look like regular chrome (??). Maybe I haven't seen regular chrome in so long.

How long was the BO on something of a regular silver finish? For question # 1000 - how are the wheeldude.com guys following up with this, still on point?

Sorry for your scheduling chaos. It's a mother F$%^$% but I'm not gonna lie, I've had to be that guy before...

They do look VERY chromey (new adj.) and I've always disliked chrome. Thus, this inner turmoil!

Back order was until End of June or so.

Zoeb is actually taking care of this nicely. At first because of my schedule constraints, he was going to send a new set two day air. But when I told him about my top problems, he agreed to let me mount these wheels and take it to the dealer. Now he is sending me a new set ground and return shipping labels for this set. In the end I'll be paying out of pocket for the tire swaps but oh well... I guess I can't complain too badly.

It was actually nice of him, his vehicle isn't back from the car audio place(which he expected it to be), so I would rather check VM at 5:30, than show up to no vehicle for sure. I actually thanked him for it. You're only "that guy" when you don't call if running late or not at all.

I talked to Hasek yesterday and told him that if saturday's booking cancels, I am coming out for sure. Definitely a time crunched, early to late prep booked for 2 days but if , I'm there. Distillery is really nice, I used to go there a lot when I lived in Rochester.

On a wheel note: I checked the Wheeldude site, it seems like "hyper black" look closer to hyper silver than actual black .... I can't get the image to show up here....if the finish is even accurate on the site.

I think hyper silver is just gorgeous. Is hyperblack an option you would entertain?

Kevin,

I think they look incredible! Would love to see some daylight shots as well.

I got new rubber finally for the 189's. I threw them on yesterday. I'm not sure how much I like them on the e90 though. I'm gonna give it a good bath and take some pics post them then ask for everyones input.

Wow, I really like the way they look and I'm not much of a chrome guy either.

BTW, which HID route did you go?

Drove out to Ithaca to see some Cornell friends and help them blow off steam from finals.
