random orbital polisher?
Just wondering if there is anyone in Sydney who could help me with some polishing for Pizza and bear or an RA polisher for hire?
Had what looks like iron filings eat into my bonnet. This is in addition to some white paint flecks/spots which I had been meaning to get off. I have medium clayed it which has taken off the paint spots and some of the iron but the rest has etched into the clear coat. I am going to try some CarPro Iron LS to dissolve the rest. However, its now going to need some paint correction. I'm ordering some Scholl Concepts S17 and a Lake Country CCS Orange pad to polish it out. I just need an RO polisher now but didn't want to buy one since I probably wont use one again as I am not too fussy about paint correction given our car is always out in the weather. Let me know if anyone can help or has any ideas. thanks Don |

If you're not doing the whole car, find the most aggressive cutting compound and do the spot areas by hand with a pad.
It will take a bit longer, but touchups can certainly be done by hand. |

Thanks Gary, that's great news. I am down in Willoughby so not too far from you.
Which model RO polisher do you have by the way and what size backing disc? I have been holding off ordering my pads until I work out what size I need. Cheers Don |
