Cobb tune? I have had the 2AAF codes for a while but just sent some logs to PTF and he recommended that I change my LPFP before getting tuned for E50. I am trying to run this tank to E today and throw a half tank of race gas in for FixxFest.

Do you get your E85 from Bollinger's?

JB4 G5, yes 2AAF too. I get my E85 from Bollingers and also in Ft. Meyers. I've been running on the Bollingers for the past 3 tanks. For some reason, my car doesn't seem to perform as well w/ Bollingers E85 vs. the one I get in Ft. Meyers. I've tested it in the test tube before, both have hovered around E80-E86 (the higher content favoring the Ft. Meyers one). I wonder what the remaining 15% is mixed with?

my run was crappy, I couldn't get traction I was getting 2.4-2.5 60ft's all day

r/t .076
60' 2.359
1/8 9.074 @ 90.30 mph
1/4mile 13.487 @ 111.94 mph

tune, DCI, methanol, E85/93 octane, 6MT. My car wouldn't boost past 16.5psi for some reason(?) even though I have my additive set to 7 (19.5psi), kept getting a plausible fuel pump code, and kept missing 2nd gear. Only ran 4 times because it was an epic fail and quit.

Then I over-purged my meth on 7/5 on one run, missfired right off the line because of that, and managed to miss 2nd as well. I ran 21.xx @ 40.xx mph on that run

Fun even nonetheless, Jstang ran a great time!

sweet car! when I first looked into your engine bay, I was like WTF where are your cone filters? then I saw the exhaust manifolds and finally got it

Also E90company, thanks for the advise on running with on push of the DTC button (DTC light in dash), it helped with my 60ft times that day.

Good meeting some of you guys at FIXXFEST this year. I was able to take a spin in JMARS single setup after he got it up and moving. His car pulled as hard as any 335i I've ever been in and he was only hitting around 20 PSI. Once these guys get the kinks worked out they are going to be legit!

I ran my car for the first time ever on the strip. I ran 5 times with my best time being my first. The slip looked like this:

R/T: .635
60': 2.242
330: 5.657
1/8: 8.398
MPH: 91.62
1000: 10.745
1/4: 12.708
MPH: 114.51

My highest trap of the day was my last run at 115.06. I was very pleased with the consistency of the Cobb tune. 1/4 mile times ranged from 12.708 to 12.904 and traps ranged from 113.62 to 115.06.

Mods are DCI, ETS 5" FMIC, AR DP's, and Dinan axle back exhaust. Tune was Cobb race gas map running VPR MS109 on stock turbos and full weight on street tires.

I was supposed to get protuned by PTF this past week but they looked at my logs and said my LPFP needed replaced. After my first run, I got a 2A2D code which I found to be a low pressure fuel code. I will be replacing the LPFP and getting protuned by PTF over the next couple of weeks and hitting the strip again.

In all honesty, I expected to be in the low 12's but I obviously need to launch better to have a shot at that. I'm assuming the LPFP issue isn't helping times either.

HAHA I had to do a double take when i first pulled in. At first I thought it was a Subie with a BMW logo. To be honest, I don't know which would have been worse.

Georgiatech335 ran but he was having issues launching not to mention he was only hitting like 16 PSI's. He talked to Shiv during the event and Shiv seems to think that his secondary map sensor was wired incorrectly.

JMARS was only hitting like 12 PSI's on his way up from Boca and GeorgiaTech335 troubleshooted and found out that his Procede was VIN locked. Once it got unlocked, it was around 5:30 and the track was closed. He took me for a ride and it pulled like crazy!

I ran but my car had some bugs (no meth, MAP sensor connector was messed up so a wire fell out). Also the map sensor being messed up was making my timing really bad.

I also had problems launching. Car is way too hard to launch without 2step, too much lag. And everytime I used the 2step my car would start rolling past the beams. Also, I didn't realize the NLS was turned on all the time so my shifts were very crappy.

I was running 13 and 14s 1/4 miles with 3.0s 60'. I never had a clean run that would be close to indicate what it was capable of.

I'l prob be able to run this Friday. Only have 1 bug left to troubleshoot and I think I know the problem, just waiting on Vishnu for the solution (which should be very easy and only a software or very minor wiring change).
