How to reset TPM?
After I got my springs installed, everytime I start the car there is a message on iDrive saying: "Please set tire pressure and then reset TPM" or something like that.
What do I do?

im assuming you have idrive. if so, click on the menu button (so you are on the main screen) then click on the i in the middle, scroll down to tires, then it will show the car and there will be a button that says "Reset", click on that. It takes a little bit, but that is all you do.

Longstanding problem with TPM on my '03 (!) 330XI. Used to stay on for 15 seconds after start. Two dealers couldn't resolve problem under 4 year warranty. Ok, I'll have to live with it. Now, indicator turns red and remains on, despite having appropriate air pressure in all 4 tires.
Any suggestions? |

I had an E46 M3 that had the FTM light keep coming on even though the tire pressures were perfect, and the tire tread were all even. Turned out to be a faulty DSC module.

Sorry to bring this thread back, but I just got new tires. The guys said to purchase the TPMS kit that will use my existing TPMS. When I started the car, the message says to set tire pressure then reset TPM. I go to the TPMS in the iDrive and all tires are green and it says active, but I can not press reset. It's grayed out.
Anyone know why the message is not going away?
