Are the power gains noticeable when you install and drive?

Think I decided on doing a FMIC next but not sure which one to get. VRSF for the price, ETS for the look and no cut install, or AMS. How much would a shop charge to install a FMIC? I could do it myself but rather not spent the time and a professional would definitely do it better than I can.
After a lot of research I decided to go with the ETS 5" FMIC.
Usually shops quote about 2 hours for an intercooler that doesn't require trimming or cutting.

I went with the same one... there is a bit of cutting involved if I remember correctly but it still only took about an hour. It's pretty straightforward. Read up on some of the installs of that FMIC here on the forums and you'll know exactly what I am referring to and also what to be on the lookout for when you get it installed.

Also, no, you won't feel a drastic power gain. But you will notice a little something.

More consistent power, less loss of power due to colder air.
And in my mind also better for the turbos, especially if they are boosting higher than stock.

If you know someone that can solider it cost a few bucks to repair. There's a good diy on repairing the dme. Otherwise you'll be charged $2-300 to do it. If i was more local id give you a hand. I'm sure there's people closer that could lend a hand

Hit up Dave and Rob at Markert Motor Works. I recently had them do a bunch of work on my 2009 E92. Great customer service, through work, and great guys.

I went with the cheap coilover install and in the end it would have been cheaper to have had it done right to begin with. Also often shops are including corner balancing in the price and corner balancing varies pretty heavily in price. I'd go with Markert or Solo.
