Man gotta give it to you man. IDK why but I kinda doubt an automatic such as mine would make it this far.

160mi everyday in an MT. That's a whole lot of shifting.. I bet you never recorded those numbers now did you?

Right on! Shows that with regular maintenance modern cars can last a long time. I hope you are still enjoying your 325!

I also drive a 325i E90 with close to 151K on it, bought new in Aug. 05. It's an automatic though. I drive at least 400 miles a week 95% on the freeways.

The only major repair was an oil leak at around 120K and replacing spark plugs and a coil at around 138K. I also had to replace both rear window regulators at 92K and 135K.

The car runs excellent, I change oil & filter every 5000 miles or so.

I intend to drive it until it hits 222222

Had to go back in to get plugs changed. I asked the BMW service tech if I should get rid of this car ... if all the hype about it being a ticking time bomb was legit ... he laughed hard and told me I would be an idiot to get rid of her with only 73,000 miles. Said people all over the world are wanting the 5th gen 3's.

Grats bro, loved reading this. Instilled confidence in me seeing as I just jumped into the BMW family.

OP, thanks for writing this up and providing so much detail. Im at 96,300 miles myself and had to replace the timing belt, eccentric actuator and valve cover gasket. Im getting to the point where I need to re-evaluate my situation and I've pretty much decided to keep the car.

Whats your current mileage? Have any repair issues come up?

I hope you mean the serpentine belt. The N52 has a timing chain.

Current mileage is 241,700. I think the drive shaft center bearing is going tits up soon.

Great thread! Nice to see a writeup with positive info. Seems like I'm always reading threads about all the negatives or issues people have. This is a refreshing read. Congrats on your mileage. That's fantastic!

I've started thinking about replacement E90 for our 07 TL-S Acura. Good to see they last.
