Got some new wheels to replace my ol' busted 163's.
Spacers are obviously needed desperately (and yes I know, a drop).

I know it's difficult judging what spacers to get based solely on pictures, but I was just wanting to get some input here from all the wheel "experts"

Fronts: 19x8.5, ET 35, 225's
Rears: 19x9.5, ET 33, 255's
[will eventually be upped to 235's/265's]

So I don't want anything too crazy, but definitely want a more flush appearance.
12mm up front, 15mm rears?

I think 12 mm all around should be satusfactory before the fitment guys get in here tell you to get wider wheels with low offsets. Lol actually second thought 15 rears. Based on the pictures.

hahaha yeah, I was thinking 12's all around, but the backs look really tucked in these pictures, so 15's started sounding a bit better.

i personally would just run 10mm spacers all around and 235/265 tires.

I think 12mm and 15mm would put you in a situation where you'd have to do some fender modification.

Front ET35 - 15mm spacers = 20mm new offset
Rear ET33 - 12mm spacers = 21mm new offset

That would look gorgeous IMO but like the previous have said, 10mm would probably be on the safe side.

Judging by the pictures it looks like you can do lower though.

whether you do 10 or 12, you're going to need to roll the rear fenders once you drop the car.

that being said, since you'll have a little more space after rolling, that's why i suggested wider tires at least 265 and only 10mm spacers. if you're going for that flush look, then just push those wheels out more with a 15mm spacer and keep the 255s.

Back when I had a brief stint with my m359's, I had my fenders rolled to try and fit them, but the tires were too big and I couldn't get them to stop rubbing. However, I was never sure what to expect with a fender roll, so I'm not even sure if they did a decent job. I'll post a pic for you to check out in a second.

that looks pretty normal and clean. what offset and tire sizes did you have on the m359's? were you on the oem m3 359 wheels/tires?

Yeah, OEM 359's. Tires were 235/265. Can't remember the exact specs, but they were some fatty tires. Rims were ET25 in the back if I remember correctly. I know I could have fit them with lower profile tires, but couldn't waste any more money trying to find out. lol
So when I do throw some spacers on and eventually get the coils, I don't think I'll have too much of an issue with rubbing, mainly because my current tires are far more low profile.

oem m3 tires are too big for non-m's. theyre like 265/35 i think. and theyre usually ps2's which run wide to begin with... so its almost like having 275/35s in another brand.

What you can do is drive halfway into a driveway so your wheel compresses into your qtr panel or fender and measure from there. It'll give you an idea of how much space you have at full compression. (when you run over bumps, have a full car, or take aggressive turns)

Got some 10's and 12's.
Not sure which will go where, but I'll experiment with both when I get them Friday.
