Where did you get your manifold? I'd like to do this mod to my 06 325 but want to buy parts with time on my side...maybe do it up in the summer/fall. I'll be following along in your posts.

I actually found my manifold and the larger DISA on ebay and got the smaller DISA from another member on here and the other smaller parts from my local dealer. all said and done, I payed about 310 bucks for everything i need to do the conversion. Just search around and be patient and you will be able to find everything you need for a good price.

Great write up. If I had N52 I'd do the same.
I would love to see what power gains your car has.

according to the latest article, http://activeautowerkeblog.wordpress.com/, i should be making at least an extra 24 rwhp and that test was done without the 3 stage manifold which should give me at least an extra 15-20 rwhp. so i could be producing 40+ more rwhp, but i guess its hard to tell unless i put in on a dyno which i dont plan on doing unless someone what to get me on one for free

It feels great! i can definitely feel the extra power, and from what i have read its only going to get better over the next few 100 miles as the tune adapts to my car from my readings and the modifications i have done i should be getting at least 50+ more hp at the crank and you can definitely tell there is more there then before, quite a bit more, i cant wait to put my summer tires back on so i can really grip the road and see what the car can do now.

Welcome to the club . Its good to be here

From my experience & research the (3stage + North American company tune) vs. (3stage only) is alot of new torque in low-mid end and not alot of HP at the top, I think its at or just above a stock 330i.
Dont let it discourage you, I may be wrong as I haven't seen every pre & post dyno ( especially rwd only 328i).
I do know that DISA makes the car breathe and drive much better, like a refinement.

The only companies that claim massive gains are German, and they are elusive & expensive.
