Yes, that feature can be coded, if you have power folding windows to begin with.

Thanks for replying,
I'm new to this...is that coding something I could do or a dealership must do? Car is under warranty. |

Check out the coding sub-forum: http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=368
Alternatively, you can pay someone on here to remote code functions you want. There's quite a few to enable. |

Don't do it, especially with a vert.
The issue will become glaringly apparent when you have the top down, then try to hold the lock button to fold the mirrors. The windows go down halfway every time and you spend more time trying to get them back up then doing the stupid code in the first place Yes we tried adjusting the timing but it didn't make a damn bit of difference... So long as your top is up, the "feature," once coded, works just fine. |

So your either holding the unlock button every time or you didn't realize that you only need to press the unlock button once to have the mirrors move back to normal. If the windows roll down with just 1 press of the unlock button then something else might be wrong.

Try it with the top down and see. That said, I DO roll the windows up first when the top is down (for a little more added security.) Maybe I can try with the top and windows down. |

You might want to see if thats your problem since this doesn't happen with me with my top open or closed. You should video tape your issue and upload it for us that way we can see exactly what its doing. I'm sure that i understand what you saying, but a visual would help a little more.

Don't know guys, I must be not understanding something here...In reading all the posts, , I don't have it "coded" as mentioned. I have tried to close the mirrors with the fob as described. Also with the driver door CA. No dice.
Bottom line...It must be coded to work?? |

So tempted to do Smart Top...but I am still under warranty, and don't want to give them any reason to give me shit about the hardtop, should shit happen.

mild hijack for a quick question, is there any way to tell at a glance from pictures on a craigslist listing or something whether or not a car has comfort access? this is with respect to first and second year e90s and 06-07 e60s
or do you have to run the vin/ask the seller to look at the back of the key for the battery door |
