Okay-
Need help with this: The noise emerged a day after picking up my car from getting my clutch/flywheel replaced. On the way back from lunch, it started, and it was as loud if not louder than this. I have no idea whats going on. I've been driving very gently to break in my clutch/flywheel. Have any of you heard this noise before? Any and all input is appreciated. Losing sleep over this even though it is what it is until Tuesday. Thank you. Last edited by Noir; 02-20-2017 at 01:46 PM.. |

So hopefully this helps whomever in the future... the noise was caused by the heat shield that is over the transmission. Apparently a corner had bent down a little bit (like an inch or so) and it was rubbing against the drive shaft causing this hum. So all is well now. |
