The 3 series coupe and 3 series convertible Edition Exclusive and M Sport Edition made their world permiere today, at the 2011 Frankfurt IAA. Both feature special paint options and unique equipment to make them unique from standard E92 and E93 3 series.

Here is the original information we posted on these two cars:

BMW 3 Series Coupe/Cabrio Edition Exclusive & M Sport Edition
From autumn 2011, the BMW 3 Series Coupé and BMW 3 Series Convertible will be available in Edition Exclusive and M Sport Edition guises. Precisely coordinated design features and equipment options offer customers the chance to add striking emphasis to either the sophisticated or the dynamic side of their car’s character. A BMW Individual hardtop in contrasting paint finish is available for the first time for the BMW 3 Series Convertible. And the BMW 320d EfficientDynamics Edition Touring will also be available in Exclusive and Lifestyle special editions. Edition Exclusive Model Highlights:
  • 18-inch V-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in Space Grey
  • Exclusive exterior paint shade Mineral Grey (or any one of the other color variants offered as standard or as an option)
  • Exterior mirror caps in Oxide Silver
  • Dakota leather can be ordered in the exclusive Pearl Grey with grey contrast stitching, or in Black with white contrast stitching.
  • Floor mats with color coordinated piping
  • Interior trim strips in Bamboo Grain Anthracite
  • Chrome door sill strips with “Edition” lettering
M Sport Edition Model Highlights:
  • Exclusive Silverstone paint finish (from the BMW M3)
  • 18" Ferric Grey light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design
  • BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line window recess finishers
  • Black-painted exterior mirrors
  • Rear apron with integrated sports diffuser painted in body color
  • M rear spoiler as an option.
  • Sports seats with M detailing, an M Sport steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and an M aluminium driver’s footrest
  • Dakota leather seat covers with blue contrast stitching and special “M” piping
  • Model-specific interior strips in Aluminium Glacier Silver dark
  • Floor mats with blue piping set the seal on the M Sport Edition package
Contrasting Hardtop Color Option for E93 Convertible:
  • Folding roof available in contrasting Black or Titanium Silver metallic and can be combined with a total of 15 different body paint finishes
  • Can also be specified in conjunction with the M Sport package and for the BMW M3 Convertible.
New RTTI:
  • the new Real-Time Traffic Information (RTTI) function from BMW ConnectedDrive delivers a whole new level of reliability and precision when it comes to identifying, conveying and utilising the car’s current traffic situation. The result is a faster and more effective calculation of routes and, if necessary, diversions.

I thought that white-top 330i had protective tape on the roof and then I realized that it's the paint! Yuck.

contrasting roof was a horrible idea..Honestly curious as to how that made it out of their conference room. M Sport package looks good as always, though i'm a bit iffy on that diffuser.

This kind of RTTI isn't available in the US yet but BMW is planning to do so. For Europe, all post-Sept '11 builds will get it (it's not retrofittable as of now).
