Who can fix my whining differential?
I have a whining noise that I thought was a wheel bearing but my mechanic thinks it's the rear differential. I have an appointment with the dealer next Friday to have it diagnosed by them.
If I need my differential bearings replaced (rebuilt), is there a good place around the western suburbs of Philadelphia to have this done? I did a web search and found Chester County Transmissions and they said that they could do it but I was hoping to find a place that specializes in BMW but won't charge as much as the dealer. My car is a 2009 E90 xDrive manual trans with only 38,xxx miles. And I baby it. Has anyone heard of a similar situation? Thanks |
