Unlike in the U.S. there is no website to track by production number, and calling BMW Canada (as I did) will yield a comment such as "check with your dealer, we can't help you".
Mine was ordered Feb. 19th, I got a production number March 5th, and received the VIN April 4th.
So far I have had no luck with the VIN on the WW site, it does not recognize my VIN, so I have no way of knowing which ship it will sail on.
Dealer claims I will have the car at the end of April - I have serious doubts unless it's on the water now. When I ordered a MINI it took a month from the day the ship sailed to receiving at the local dealer.
You may want to tell your dealer to inform you immediately of the VIN once they have it.

I have been having the same problem with the WW tracking, saying invalid ID. Per my CA, my car has been at the port of exit since March 31st, but he just looked today and there is still no change/update.

Looks like my situation as well. A royale pissoff. I've had my 335xi VIN number now for the past 2.5 wks. And I've been status 193 (at the f***ing port) for two weeks now. I'm still status 193. And the VIN# is not registering with WW. WTF is going on? Is the WW boat not loading for travel to Halifax??????????????????????????????? WTF??? I was promised late April, very early May delivery. Somehow, I think I shouldn't be holding my breath. Mid to late May is sounding more realistic. Anyone else have experience with this situation?

I realize the problem is most likely that your cars simply haven't been loaded onto a ship yet, but I was thinking, how do you know that WW is your shipping company and not NYKLine? Does your CA give you that info once the car is at Bremerhaven?

My understanding is that all Canada bound cars arrive through the Halifax port by WW only.

My car was at production stage 152 paint shop on the 7th, I was thinking that production should be complete by now, and the car may be on it's way to port or being loaded.
Still no ID on WW's website tracking, sigh...

OK folks, the WW website was finally updated with my VIN. Seems that the upload of website info has been greatly delayed for whatever reason. I am on the MEDEA ship and have already departed Southampton (after Belgium, and Germany before it). It's likely that some of you are on this ship as well. The ship will be reaching Halifax on Monday, April 16th. Now, if I could only understand what the implications of the new CN strike are for delivery of my vehicle into Toronto.

My 335xi e90 is currently at Bremerhaven waiting to be boarded onto a ship. I'm actually hoping she can get on ATLANTIC CONVEYOR which leaves tomorrow since it will arrive in NY on the April 25th. Wish me luck!!

If the WW website doesn't recognize my VIN number, what are the chances my car will be on one of the ships leaving in the next few days? Does the WW website get updated after my car is loaded onto the ship or will the WW website be updated before my car is loaded?

As I indicated in my previous post, the WW website has not been updated real time. As a result, it's quite possible that your vehicle will be sailing towards North America prior to your awareness thereof.

It may take a day or two to get loaded. All I'm saying is that after that point, you still may not know. However, the 1800# should change and say that your vehicle is in transit. Don't despair if the WW doesn't respond for some time after that. My vehicle was at the port on March 28/29 and got loaded onto the boat on April 4. And the WW website only began to work for me yesterday, April 11. Now in fairness to WW, they were shut down on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, which may explain their tardiness in updating their website.

Thanks for the update. I'll continue to monitor the situation. Just for everyone's reference, my car completed production on 4/3/2007. Got to the port only yesterday (4/11/2007).

[Edit] WW just updated my VIN, I'm on the ASIAN CHORUS which departed 4/12/2007 and is due to arrive in NY on 4/27/2007!!!

Dealer confirmed my car is at production status 193 arrived at port in Bremerhaven, but no record on WW site.
WW website does seem extremely slow to update - when I was tracking my MINI's progress their site was showing the car booked for a vessel even before it arrived at the port.
I would think that if a car is at the port it should be booked.
Hope the CN rail strike is settled soon, apparently the Halifax port already has approximately 10,000 vehicles to distribute, more than double the usual volume.

My car finally went from "scheduled for production, with no confirmed production date" to "in production. estimated completion date April 20" last Thursday.

Ok, so that means I'm at Status 150. Can the people you talk to at BMWNA on the 800# give you the actual status number (151 Body Shop, 154 Assembly, etc...), or is that something only the CA can do?

The live help will be able to tell you what stage of production your car is at. They didn't reference by status #, they just stated, "in paint shop", "in assembly", etc.

Am I the only one on that vessel? It is due in the US today; the 15ht, per KLines...they needed a Bill of Laden , not a VIN, to confirm>

Is there a Vehicle Prep. Center in Charleston? I think there is one...I am due 4/22, per CA...the guy might be right!!!

On another subject, I might give him bad review when BMWNA calls though...unless someone convinces me not to. I think he should have advised me that HD and 6FL would be available in March, from the get go, when I ordered. I found out about HD and added it after the order...4 days later, I found out about 6fl; he told me too late...I would have to wait another 12 weeks.

The VPCs on the east coast are in NY & SC.

Can't advise you what to do with your CA, that's between you and him. All I can say is, if it wasn't for this forum, my CA would know more than me and I would be at a disadvantage. When he was going over the checklist for PCD, it seemed like I could answer his questions before he asked them and it appeared it was the first time he ever did a PCD...
