I have never purchased wipers before but if thats how you do it than ill just go to sears

take it off the car, walk into auto parts store and say, "do you have a replacement for "these""?

typically, you just need to buy the right length wipers. the cheap sutff only replaces the rubber thingy on the wiper. the more expensive ones replaces the entire wiper.

if you go to autozone or something like that, they can look it up for you and get you the right stuff.

Any Pep Boys or AutoZone will have the right info, either by asking, using a comp they have, or the book they have there.

Meh, its a mercury... I dont want it to explode or something, it is made by ford.

the cheapest one (if it's the original wiper blade, you can probably get away with replacing just the inserts).

ive had my fair share of trying out more expensive wiper blades and at least in this part of the US, they start losing their effectiveness after a year.
