Need help!!!

ok so i was driving around tonight and all of the sudden a warning came up saying my adaptive headlights are malfunctioning. the lights still work they jus dont turn with the wheel. about a week ago i noticed some condensation in my headlamp but i thought it would go away. since its raining today, the headlight has collected a lot of water in it. i think this is what caused the problem.

however, i do have lux 5.0 which have been in the car for about a month or so. should i remove them before i bring the car into service? and if i do, does the lux 5.0 throw a code that they will see? i dont want to have to pay for this to get fixed.

thanks

If it's a headlight problem, then definitely remove the LUX before you take the car in for service. And don't worry, the LUX does not cause any error codes. Once you swap back your OEM AE in there, you should be good to go.

GL!

Where in NJ are you? Which dealer will you be taking your car to?

my adaptives did this once also but was fine the next day. I didnt have any water or condensation tho. As fellow jersey member has posted, def take out the lux before heading to the dealer.

Black vinyl overlays will not affect your warranty, so you can leave those on. But definitely take out the LUX.

Let us know what happens.
