18" All Season RFT?

They don't seem to exist. What if you want the look of 18" wheels but since the car doesn't come with a spare you need the RFTs?

This is probably the biggest dilemma with this car. You have some options

1) Run Non run flat tires and
A) carry a can of fix a flat
B) buy a M mobility kit or Conticomfortkit portable compressor with sealant
C) but a space saver spare with jack
D) Buy a full size 17" tire and wheel with the same circumference and a jack
E) Put one of the run flats in the trunk and buy a jack

2) Put on 17" all season RFs .( not my preference)

I'm leaning toward 1A or 1B

A tire guy made an interesting suggestion... get AAA roadside. I don't know how much it is, but it's probably less than a set of runflats and should be enough to get you out of a bind.

Doesnt solve the issue if you get a flat. Just gives you the ability to get your car towed (which BMW roadside assistance will do anyway).

What if you get a flat when there are no shops open? This happened to me on a Saturday night, and could not get a shop to work on the car until Monday. If you go with non-RF's, I can not suggest enough getting a spare. Atleast have it at home so you can swap it out and not be out of commission if that happens to you...
