Also, please comment on the durability of your rims which has been questioned in this thread:

It makes me a little nervous and more likely to order another brand.

Sorry guys, we're waiting on confirmation from production as to the completion time. No updates as of yet aside from saying its a few months out.

As far as the wheel strength goes, every single wheel design is strength tested during the R&D process in accordance to published standards, and a few wheels are also pulled from each production batch for quality control including strength testing.

In the last few years, I've seen hundreds of bent wheels, from small diameter OEM to almost every single aftermarket brand out there, including our own. You can probably do a "search" and find nearly as many threads discussing wheel strength.... nothing is indestructible.

This is really not a selling point, but we've had customers who literally destroyed their suspension going over potholes yet the wheels held up fine. In either case, to ensure the best possible experience, you'll have to choose your diameter/tire based on the roads you drive on, this is the best way to prevent bent wheels. No matter what, we look into each reported issue to see if its a warranty issue.. at the very least, we are always happy to offer discounts for replacement wheels.

Agreed, I think you have to go wayyyy out on a limb to blame a wheel manufacturer for a bent wheel when hitting a pothole. Nobody says how fast they were going or how huge the pothole was. The guy was in the DC area, where I live, and I've seen some monstrous potholes around. I drive the beltway every day and have seen a few in the fast lane near the Wilson bridge that had to be 5-6 inches deep. I drive the Jeep around a lot so that gives me time to figure out where they all are before I drive my cobra. I could guarantee you I'd probably bend one of my BBS wheels on the Cobra if I hit a lot of the potholes around here at speed.

I think the only time you might have to start wondering about the manufacturer is when wheels start coming apart like some Breytons I've seen on here.

Remmib - the rears are actually ET45 with 275 tires. Attached another picture to show the tire sitting on the inside edge of the wheel well.

would that set-up rub on a 2010 LCI e90 with the Sport Suspension??

Think you'll make a size (18x9?) that I could run front and rear on a pre-lci E90? Trying to go square.

Yeh Ive given up....very disappointing even though they keep throwing hints in other threads that they are close. Looks like they are dumping some inventory.

Not having an 18" makes me wonder if VMR is really performance oriented or they just cater to folks who like the 19" look.

My guess is they are business oriented, and the 19" are probably making them more money at the moment.

Unfortunately, there has been a slight delay in production, but the V701 18" will be coming soon around late June/early July!

We'll be posting up official announcements once we get it confirmed!

How about 713's? I'm back and forth between those and these 701's.
