It's even cheaper if you do it yourself.

...and if you watch for oil / filter specials at Autozone, Advanced and Walmart, you may be able to get the cost to around $50 or less.

My dealer always has specials or coupons on their website for $80. You can reset the oil counter yourself to save the 40 bucks or whatever they charge for a reset.

This is a GOOD deal. I'd sure take it, assuming it was apples-to-apples.

I get it done now for around $80, which involves:

- Trip to Wal-Mart for 7 quarts of Mobil 1 (around $45)
- Trip to dealer for OEM filter (cheap like 12 bucks)
- Trip to NTB for the service using my parts - ask for coupon price, around $25.

I realize DIY is an option -- the filter is right there on top, as is the fill cap -- but I don't have a lift or much garage space to work with, and the cover at the bottom of the car is not something I want to mess with unless the car is high enough for me to stand up under.

Just did mine. Oil and filter (from dealer) was $60. I did the oil change myself.

As you can see from the posts above, even at dealerships the price is all over the place.

For me here in KC, I get mine done at the dealership. I do two changes a year, one they cover the other I pay for. The one I pay for costs around $116 after tax.

With the filter on top its a pretty clean change. Just drive up rhino ramps and literally 5-10 mins later your done. Very easy to change oil on these motors.

Cheapest I've seen is $58 but the dealership is shady, it's where they shot that video "Uncle Drew" Pepsi Max. I've paid for 2 oil changes and one was $70, the other $74. i want to DIY but have an extended warranty. Do you guys DIY anyway if you have an extended warranty? I mean I've been DIY for 9 years on my Nissan and I do our other car so why not...
