255 on 9.5j rims

Can anyone tell me if the following tyres would look too stretched on the rims?

225 on 8.5J
255 on 9.5J

Also does anyone have a picture of this size tyres on these size rims?

It will look stretched, but the tyres will fit. I think 235 and 265 are a better fit for those rims.

Well, for a winter set up this would be fine. Especially if these are 18" wheels we're talking about. We often recommend 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 on our 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 wheels, respectively.

I'll be switching my 265/30/19s to 255/30/19s one my rear tires wear out. Depending on what brand of tire you go with, they might look a little stretched (toyos and falkens stretch more than other brands like kumhos or goodyears).

thats the look I'm goin for, but my rear coils are dropped pretty low already and I might even wanna go lower...hence the skinnier tire.

Well, from experience...the fronts will look a bit stretched. The rears will look just fine. It will work, but why not get bigger tires?

If you're going with 18x9 all around, make sure the offsets will fit you car...otherwise, yea you can get 255/35/18 and 235/40/18 up front. The 235 will fit on the 9" wheel pretty well. Depending on the tire, it shouldn't be too stretched at all.

I have that set up on my car and they look fine to me. I dont think they look streched. The ride feels great.
