If any, how does a tune like this negatively impact the life of the car or parts?

That's what I thought too. Now though? The way it was before the tune feels like it was running rough as hell.

I can't imagine it being a huge neg if any at all. The whole point of the tune is to make it run better not harder. It still idles at 660rpm, and if anything feels like it will last longer rather than shorten the life span

Can the dealer detect this tune?
Would it affect aa tune if i reset my ecu once it is installed?
What if the dealer reflashes to stock, would AA reflash for free?

Thanks for letting us know. I have been looking into getting my ECU flash from Active Autowerke. How long did installation take? Did you send your car's computer to them by mail, or do you do it in their shop in Miami?

1st and 2nd gear low RPM cruising (like in parking lots) is significantly smoother as well as low end acceleration in those gears. I can feel a bit more low end power even below the 1500 RPM mark where my car used to have no power at all.

When I first got my car, I wasn't very happy because mid and high end RPM whined pretty high pitched and didn't have the nice growl that my dad's 535is e28 had even at idle. The tune changed all that.

At mid and high RPMs the engine now has the roar to match it's power. It's a smooth pull all the way up to redline and I've fallen in love all over again.

And these are my impressions after only driving it 2 miles back to my office! I can't wait to get it onto the open road.
hmmm what was the price? i have a 6 speed manual and im very disappointed in the jerkiness in the trans of my 330

I've been busy recently but I plan on writing a review soon. Especialy since ive had more time to drive it. I have a few more impressions. In general positive but a few minor negatives.

In the end the tune is still definitely worth it. I recommend it to everyone

Be interested to hear what the minor negatives are...

One I can think of is the need for higher priced 91-93 octane gas
