petro-canada glide carwash

anyone here use the petro-canada glide car washes? it looks pretty good because it doesnt have the track for the wheels like most other touchless places do. its a conveyor belt system for the car and they offer the car wash season pass for it too, which is what attracts me to it most because i get my car washed at least once a week during winter.

In my experience the regular super wash season pass works @ glide locations as well and you save the $20 extra that the glide pass costs.

What locations have the glide carwashes?

I never am able to go into the regular 'track' car washes because they will destroy my rims. For once I would love to get it cleaned and not have to do it by hand.... especially in the winter.

There's a touch-less one by Britannia and creditview but the line up is long. I always hit the one at Miss rd and 407, a lot quicker!!!

So far I've been going to the esso touch less washes where you just drive in and the machine revolves around your car. No tracks or anything. I was interested in the season pass by petro canada but until now thought all their car washes were track ones

Some facts: The Petro car washes without the tracks will be about 6.5mins/car. The ones with the track is less than half the time/car.

There's two in my area, and I'll always drive by the one without the tracks--if the lineup is huge, I go to the one with tracks and by the luck of the draw, the tracked-wash is generally empty when I get there.

Both do a decent job, and I don't "think" the tracked-system does an undercarriage-wash. Don't quote me on that but I never feel the undercarriage being washed. (Dufferin/Langstaff Petro)

Touchless. Only because I like to play in the air dryers after the wash and take the maximum time in there haha

Friends don't let friends use the touchy-touchy-octopuss... wait what?
No, don't go to the soft-cloth washes. At my old job, our filthy trucks used to go through those every few days... and guess where ALL that crud ends up? Hello swirl city.

Then again, if you frequent and enjoy dark tunnels with touchy-touchy, then by all means, please proceed.

I'm using the 90 day season pass split between 5 cars. $199 this year for the glide for 90 days. The glide wash in Markham is soooo much faster than their traditional super wash, you are in and out in a couple minutes. It doesn't blow the car dry but they use mineral free water that don't stain.

Yup I have the cf performance spoiler. I got it from JL motoring. It's the high kick one just like OEM cf performance spoiler and the fitment was probably 98%. I believe I posted some pics here earlier in the summer but I can put them up here again for you to check out.
