SO i am open to suggestions or direction...

I was installing my nav2tv unit thing and think i connected the display wire upsidedown. I blame my helper, samuel adams!

Now everything works but I have no picture on my screen. I have returned everything to stock and reset with the eject button trick and disconnected battery but all i get is a grey screen for a split second then nothing.

All other functions still work and I can find my ipod and radio station from memory.

So i first thought I blew the screen so I found another one online and tried that, same problem - blank.

My only thought now is I blew the display board (graphics card?!?) in the navigation unit. Anyone confirm this?

Does anyone have a breakdown or picture of the inside so I can see if this part can be replaced?

I did get a deal on a navigation unit but it is a newer CCC and I am guessing will need to be coded to my car ($$$). Am i correct? Anyone know what that costs or know who can do it in the Bay Area?
