e93 ski pass box where to buy?

Does anyone make a skipass sub box? or are these only available as a DIY item?

I'd like to get a sub in the ski pass, and maybe try putting one of my alpine type s 10's or a alpine type r 12" sub. not sure how well these would work there, but ive had them in storage for a while and they need to be used somewhere.

I may just go with a shallow mount 13" jl sub if the 2 subs i currently have wont fit, and hopefully i can find someone that makes these because i dont have the tools i need to do it myself. and audio installers around here want a lot of money to make a custom box..

also does anyone have pics of this in their trunk?

I may go with this. options, or just go with the options of installing a infinite baffle design.

I dont think my current subs would work well as an infinite baffle sub though, the type R's are very large, the Type s's might would.

Whats a good infinite baffle sub for the e93, and anyone have a DIY for installing that setup?

HI,

agree - your Alpines will not work in free-air.

the box you link to is standing in the trunk, why not build one that are further forward - I have done this for a friend + my own E93 (not yet installed though).

Also there are plenty of guys who has done the same. Here is a good install story at the DIY car Audio forum; http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/...sic-build.html

That's my post over at DIYMA.

I finally finished the sub box. Is sounds great but i will probably end up making a new version a bit larger later on down the road.

that looks just like what i want to do, Maybe not caring so much about the fiberglassed edges in the trunk, but the way it looks from the inside is ideal. I looked into toing the infinite baffle setup but thats pretty expensive, so im going to do some type of sealed enclosure.

I have a custom box gathering dust, i would be happy to let go for a small fee, it was made to spec for a JL W6 or W7.

Fits in prefectly any and takes little space,

I want a box for a small sub that does not extend into the trunk at all. Does anyone make one?

Have you had any problem with the roof & extra virbation from an IB sub? I've been holding off and my IDMAX's are gathering dust.
