steering wheel trim

just got my burl wood steering wheel trim, has anyone removed their trim? did a search, but found nothing

You can get a steering wheel trim from BMW? I thought that was just some temporary pre-production thing BMW ended up not implimenting.

I had to rip that page out of the accessories catalog because I couldn't keep food down.

For quite a while one has been able to get Burr, poplar and leather trims

Try looking in the DIY section for posts on fitting the M pack steering wheel.
Im shure they show there how to remove the trim

got the trim (oem) from Booster, but I have not been able to find anything in DIY for any type of trim, I am not sure if it snaps off, or is screwed on from the back somehow

Suggestion

Try a BMW parts counter. If you get a friendly guy he may help- or send you to the shop technician who, again might be friendly, and give info. I've be lucky- even had an offer to do my item for me (no charge)!
