FS: (Price Reduced) Snow Wheels/Tires - Cleveland (Style 188/Pirelli Sottozero)

SOLD

PRICE REDUCED to $900 if you can pick them up by 11 Oct! - The tires alone cost more than that, and from me you get them mounted and balanced on BMW wheels!

Selling brand new, 0 miles Runflat Pirelli Sottozero Serie II 225/45 tires mounted and balanced on my original OEM style 188 17" wheels with TPMS. $1000 $900 cash local pickup or I can possibly bring to Cleveland Cars & Coffee. Rims have significant curb rash. I can email high res pics of each one if needed, but if you want perfect, beautiful wheels, these are not them.

I bought these tires just 6 months ago to be ready for winter and recently found out I am moving to Texas next month and therefore will have no use for them

The tires alone currently cost $956 new at Tirerack, not to mention shipping, mounting and balancing. Priced to sell quickly due to movers coming to pack the house at the end of the month.

EDIT: No, I will not ship these no matter how much you will pay so please no more PMs about that

These are still available. I have an interested buyer but he won't be in town until after I leave and I'd obviously prefer to deal with the buyer directly.

Can you (or anyone who is certain) confirm that these would fit on my 2006 e91 325xi wagon? no sport package.

Also, these have TPMS, but iirc, my 2006 model has indirect monitoring, which does not require the wheel to have TPMS built in. So with that in mind, would this matter or have any negative effect being installed on my e91?

My model 156's have 2 bent rims on the inside that I am considering replacing or just getting a new set of rims/tires. So this is right up my alley, provided the tire would fit and I like the look.

I honestly have no idea if the wheels would fit... you can check the stickies/search in the wheel & tire forum and if you can't figure it out, just post a question and someone can tell you. The TPMS is just a transponder bolted on the wheel, so while an incompatible car would not be able to receive the signal, it's not like it would hurt anything either.

I have confirmed via TireRack and elsewhere on the forums that these will fit my car. My only two concerns are that I have read tirerack's reviews and one customer only got 6k miles from these, while another only 15k.
Additionally, can you PM me some individual rim picks with more detail/resolution so that I can determine if the amount of rash is acceptable to me?
If I do go ahead with the purchase, I should be able to pick them up this week sometime, or on a weekend/Friday evening between now and your departure in October.
Thanks!

OK, I'll send you pics tonight. I can't speak to the durability since I've never used them, but I'm sure if you do a bunch of burnouts on your snow tires they won't last long no matter who makes them. There aren't many RF Snow tires that have decent dry traction, which these provide. But if your only concerns are longevity and snow safety and you don't care at all about dry traction and handling, then there might be better options for you.
