Are the Pre-LCI Paddle Shifters different than LCI

i have a 2009 335i LCI, but it seems that i have PRE-LCI shifters on my car?

Sorry guys meant the Paddle Shifters!

They are the same. 335is DCT has a different shifter.

If we're talking MT, the M-sport shifter is different than the standard one.

Paddle shifters were changed in 2011. I've personally tried swapping the LCI into the pre-LCI and it ends up shifting up or down on its own. The pre-LCI has 3 wires per paddle... one negative, one positive, and a ground. The LCI only has 2. Didn't know WTF was going on, so I traded it for an X5 and now I feel like I drive around a pig.

What.
