JB4 question!!

i have an aftermarket radio and my steering wheel controls arent working. how else can i set the maps without the steering wheel controls? i want to order jb4 asap. so quick responses would be appreciated!

The jb4 comes with a downloadable free logging/Jb4 setting software ( dont know exactly what to call it) but in any case. You plug the JB4 into your laptop then go to the software, from their go to settings and switch your map to whatever you want. Make sure to buy the wire from BMS's website.


Also, even with an aftermarket radio it makes no difference as long as the steering wheel controls are not burnt out then you still will be able to switch maps etc through them. From what it seems like, Your controls still work just not with your aftermarket radio.



this may seem quite confusing but after a few days you will get the hang of it.

I would obviously speak with BMS, but I would assume they would still work fine with the JB4, they are just not integrated into your stereo any longer.

You actually turn your stereo off when you adjust your JB4 on the fly.
