Water in amp area?

When I got up for work this morning my radio did not work and the amp compartment had quite a bit of water in it. Anyone know where it could be coming from?

Are you using an aftermarket trunk or spoiler?

Check the left rear tailight backside, remove the trunk liner and look for water stains going into the trunk... or better yet, take it to the dealer. There's no other way to get water in at the left side, as the trunk lid seals have a metal lip base all around and the wiring harness plug is on the right side of the trunk.

Better hurry up as well, as your OEM amp can be damaged and warranty could be denied.

From what I recall of my old volvo with a leak sunroof, the result of water entry can be odiferous.

What makes you think it would be coming from the right (passenger side) if all the water was on the left?

Because I messed up and I was thinking with my ass... I meant the left side (driver side).

Fixed.
