Helix DSP - please help!

Oh no - its been some time. Now im stuck in alabama followed by new mexico for the next year. So i wont bug you till i get back to NY

About to rip it all out and start over.

Either the car or the ms-8 is giving me bad noise.

I've already fixed some noise problem by replacing the head unit which has cleaned up a lot of the issues. I have also replaced the technic harness with a twisted wire version of same, that has cleaned up more. However I still have a noise floor.

My next tack is to pull all my stuff out of the CD changer and set it out mounted on a flat board just open in the trunk so I can change around with different configurations and troubleshoot.

I have an airplay device on order, as well as a new MS eight so I will know if it is coming from the source unit, or the existing Ms8

If i hadnt heard it at its full potential i wouldve abandoned it long ago.

Has this been resolved?

I was planning out my e90 ME EP system with Ken, and he did provide excellent service back in November, but now that I'm ready to buy I can't get through to them. It does make me hesitate to buy from Musicar, and if they're that busy - can't they just post on their website or here - busy until March moving or whatever.

To their credit John got involved after I raised the issue on every medium I could find (email, forum, fb, website). He's been very responsive. Shame things had to get this bad first though.

How is the system working? Are you happy with the Helix? It sounds like a great unit, and I'm looking to purchase one, but want to get your thoughts.

Received lousy service from Musicar, the DSP wasn't sent out tuned and files they sent me weren't any better. In the end I used a local provider to rewire the front speakers as 'active', put in another amp and a sub.

Since then my motor has blown so still yet to get it all working.

Also looking for a tune file (.afp, afpx)
I would be delighted if anyone could share theirs with me.

I can upload my file sometime this week. I have 2 OT19 tweeters & L7 mids currently installed.
