I am not sure where i will go. As of right now its between the SSTT and Dinan flash.
If i can get BMW to retrofit me an oil Cooler, i will prob spring for Dinan as it really looks like a great tune, with all the adjustments, warranty, impressive numbers as well as removing the speed limiter. So yea i want Dinan, but no way im spending 4000 dollars to do it if BMW dont give me an oil cooler. |

I think it's great that there are this many options available to choose from. Keeps things interesting. As for me, I'm gonna wait a bit to see how things shake out. This thread is obviously spawned because of the release of the Dinan update. Dinan could be a good option but I want to see some dyno numbers on customer cars that aren't trying to market a product (on 91 octane as well). The other options that have been around for a bit, they seem great too but I am still not convinced any are solid at this point as they all seem to exhibit some issues. (not including the SSTT, havne't heard or read of any major issues there)

Power of the Dinan Brand
With 134 votes, I think we have a good representative sample of BMW enthusiasts.... Might not cover the whole BMW 335i population which would include mothers, yuppies who just buy the badge....
#1 is Vishnu by a big margin followed by Juice Box. The interesting thing is Dinan overnight is going to get 15% marketshare..... Shows the power of the Dinan brand but an alternative view is Dinan has many more competitors now. It is no longer a world where people waited for Dinan.... Thanks for the votes!

Just speculation on both our parts really.... The question is what is the beta between the sample of this board and 335i people in general and then 335i owners who mod. We will never know.

I have JB2H (beta testing the hot pill) right now. I plan on getting the race switch for the track and dyno numbers to I know what HP I am taking to the track.
In addition to JB2RH, I have cat-back exhaust with no secondary cats or resonators and cold air intake. My plans: exhaust cutouts with external wastegates, catless DP, intercooler work (charge pipes..hot side of IC), oil catch can when charge pipes go in (to keep them oil free), secondary cooling units for stock oil cooler..... |

If its been in a couple days already then the ecu is has adapted to it already. That is unless you havnt been flooring the car through the gears,(winding it out) enough. Let it rip brother. The motor loves those higher rpm,s.
