Price
Ben at ARMA Superchargers (http://www.armaspeed.com) just quote me a Stage 3 supercharger for a 320i . Price is 6,500 USD FOB Taiwan.
HP in website are DIN which tend to be lower number than SAE meassurement. So power increases from 170 HP SAE (143 HP DIN) to 230 HP SAE (200 HP DIN). |

looks good, i find it weird tho , autotuneheinz claims they can tune the 122hp 318d to 200hp by replacing fuel injector & turbo and other minor upgrades thus making it a chipped up 320d instead.

Guys this is to to end this conflict, i own E92 320i its 170hp. and the arma could give you 230hp if its .5 kit (thats what it says). and there is a .7 kit which gives you close to 260hp but there is no waranty on the kit and car. I have this as an email from the companywhich i contacted earlier before you guys argued about it and i can send you more pics and specs from that email. But could anyone tell me the price? because i forgot to ask them. Besides, if i installed it i can still have the gurante on the engine???

Says their supercharger fits 2.5L to 4.0L... that would be 325i, 328i, and 330i right there... just sucks i would have to move back to Japan to test them out... O_o' I doubt that the military will ship my BMW over there anyway Google maps is telling me that's actually not that far away from Yokosuka where i was stationed. still about a 4 hour trip though and highway tax is a bitch over there... >__< Last edited by N0OS3; 09-22-2011 at 10:56 PM.. |

I don't know why i didn't hear of ARMA before... i think it would be pretty cool to have a retail in the U.S. that will throw SuperChargers in your N52... maybe a battle between Twin Supercharged N52 vs Twin Turbo N54 ^__^
here are the images for the N52: I think they have the idea of "stages" mixed around IMO... the U.S. [at least] are used to stage1 being low modification, stage 2 is street performance, stage 3 is track performance, and stage 4 being racing performance... they have stage 1 at 10.15psi... this stage 1 kit doesn't include an intercooler or fuel management system (of course not, right?) so that could be a pretty hefty penny too... |
