Cheap but good coilovers for the Xi ?
I know that "cheap" isn't good thing when it comes to suspension. I'm not looking to track my car, just want a good daily driver that looks more aggressive with a lower stance. So what coilovers are out there that are under $1000 for the Xi drive cars.

SonicTuning has their house brand model S1 on sale for $899/shipped. Note, don't confuse it for ST by KW. I have not seen any XI review as they just release the model for XI.
Talk to Jose, tell him I sent you. jose_sonictuning I cannot give any feedback on the quality of the coilover but it is sub-1000... I am considering it myself but I've bought my fair share of low quality coilover in the past in the name of $$$... I am considering ECS deal for H&R for a little more but a brand you know with warranty you can trust... Your call... good luck |

H&R or KW V1 for Xi are the most reputable options for the Xi.
I tend to avoid recommending spring/shock combos as they ride a bit harsh. |

I am selling my brand new KW V1's for $1200. Not $1000, sorry, but close! I did a ton of research, and these seemed like the best option for the price. V3's would be nicer, but way more money!

You get what you pay for. If you want coilovers to say you have them, then spend the $1k on them. But the ride won't be very good for daily driving, and the product will be lower quality and less reliable. What are your goals? |

I've done a bunch of reading on this through all the threads here. My takeaway is that for a New England roads daily driver, the Eibach and Koni yellow combo is the most favorable setup.
That said, I still am not confident enough to purchase a setup. |
