Kenu AirFrame - Device mount for car

So after having a few different mounts for my phone in the car, the one I thought I'd like the least so I tried last (aside from not trying Brodit) is the one I like the most.

Kenu AirFrame. Tiny. Cheap. Easy to use 1 handed. Quick & convenient to mount or remove from the vehicle.

I really think it's absolutely ideal. Also comes in 2 sizes/colors so there's one big enough for you folks who need a 5"+ screen for whatever reason

Been using one of these in my car for a while now. Like ya said absolutely ideal. Mounts the phone up higher than the CD based mounts and it's real quick to mount or remove it from the phone/vent and pretty darn sturdy to boot. Hasn't slipped off my vent even during spirited driving.

have this too. works fine.

but now that I switched to an iPhone 6 it seems like its heavier and putting a little more stress on the vents. I hear more creaks from the vents while i drive and hit bumps

Using this with a Galaxy S4 in the bimmer and a G35. The clip-in stub on the back has two different width cross slots to accommodate both thick and thin vent fins, kinda cool. And it lets ya rotate the phone to vertical or horizontal via detents as needed, really great for switching between non-nav and nav use, haven't found anything as useful, as small, or cheap either.

I too am using iPhone6. So far I've had music on so I haven't noticed. I think where I have it placed it's braced against the side of the vent and the phone is pressing against the dash enough toward the bottom that it's not moving.

The 6 plus really pushes its reliable limits. After barely 3 weeks of use, it's getting rather flimsy...

Ah that's a bummer. I'm interested to see how it holds up for me long term as well. My buddy has been using his with a 5S and now 6 for over a year and it's still ok.

almost pulled the triger on this. Do you guys know logitech air vent mount? check it out if not. Personally I prefer it as it's even more simpler and stylish.

Well yeah, that's certainly an option, except you have to affix a metallic plate to your phone or case in order for it to attach via the magnet they use...which is one of the things I find annoying about the Mountek nGroove Snap2 cd slot mount I used to have.

I found the strength of the magnet always eventually caused the mount to pull out of the CD slot...not to mention the metal plate would get all scratched up and looked like crap on the back of my phone.

I like the Kenu so far.

Having to stick the metallic plate to the back of your phone is indeed the biggest downside of it, but the ease of having to just throw the phone on the mount everytime I get in the car it creates makes up for that for me. Pulling the mount out of the the air vent with the phone has happened to me as well and I've learned to twist the phone off the mount instead of pulling it straight away to avoid that from happening As for the scratches on the plate.so far it looks like it's holding up pretty well after a couple of months of use. I dont see much wear and tear if any. Maybe different quality? hope it's the case

Anyone have pics of a Galaxy S5 or Note 4/3 mounted up?

Any issues with the phone flying off if it is a larger screen phone?

I had an S5 but I hated samsungs touchwiz interface so I got a Nexus 5. Both fit in the airframe with a case on. The samsung S5 with the case on was really really close to not fitting though.
