If your parents won't let you get a 335i, why would they let you turbo the 328i?

Based on what you said, its obvious you are just a kid (not that their is anything wrong with that). But you obviously have no idea of the complications of trying to go FI on the n52, and im sure you also dont have the funds for a project this big.
This is all of course if your parents are even ok with you going FI on your 328. If they wont get you a 335, i highly doubt they will let you ruin the warranty on a brand new car they just bought you. IMO, be happy with what you got and spend your money elsewhere. |

Forced induction whether its turbochargers or superchargers will def void your warrenty. And if you parents didn't let you get a 335i(with warrenty) They sure as hell aren't going to let you FI your car and risk catastrophic failure. However. . . . I could totally be wrong. Sooo if it is possible, you can afford it, and you can sneak it past the folks, i would sure like to see a FI 328! Supercharged actually |

I have the SAME EXACT problem and was going to ask this, the parent thing is easy to get past, well I mean unless your really untrustworthy (wouldn't be the case if your a kid/teenager like me and they can trust you with a BMW) no parent looks under the hood. Warranty is another thing but it comes with the territory with ANY decent modification to a car, besides and e90post.com sticker +10hp to the wheels yo .I would definitively get a supercharger if it came out, but a turbo charger I would wait a long time before I got one.

Speaking of such N/A engine mods, I never found a definite answer when searching the threads, is there a ECU performance chip for the e90 328xi?

LOTS A MONEY and LOTS OF LABOUR!! not worth it... until a actual kit is released if one ever will be. |

this is a BAD idea. convince youre parents to get the 335, or the m3. why would u ever want to put turbos on a 325? for extra performance??? terrible move, kid!
the 325 is already a nice car, no need to throw in turbos, in my opinion. |

ask for the dynos or any proof that the "supercharger" from a kia i believe and the turbo produced. he couldnt. it was all show. there was thread about this where he was getting bashed on. if it worked many of the NA e90s and e92s on this forum would already have turbos or superchargers in their cars. it had to do with something with the ECU that many tuners couldnt get to work or get around to make it work.
