What the hell kind of unit are you in? I'm in a retarded unit and still do more than that...

Anyway my breakdown:

8-10: Solid work
10-11: Work mixed with BS and walking around joking/talking with people
11-12: Think about going to lunch while BSing and doing minimal work
12-1:30: Lunch
1:30-3: Solid work
3-4: Work mixed with BS
4-5: Think about leaving early, then deal with bullshit that comes down at the last minute (this happens every damned day in my job)
5: Finally leave

From time to time, we have a mandatory function (running our asses off as a unit) in the morning. I count that as work since I have to do it, so I try to use it to justify leaving a little extra early that day.

It really varies, some days I don't BS much at all, maybe an hour tops. Somedays (like today) are really freaking slow and I'm all caught up on my stuff, so I BS a lot...

Sounds like we do similar work. I work for a hospital system, but I'm also on the go driving around a large chunk of days too. Not a tough gig, and easy to see why I chose the e93 over e92/e90.

I would, but she and I have never been single at the same time. I just kicked my ex out, and she started seeing someone JUST before I got single again.

It's a transition company for all the injured people. I'm aviation but they put me in an infantry unit so since they aren't even slotted for me and no one knows what my MOS actually is or does I just go home because there is nothing for me to do. I've got a surgery scheduled here soon so after that I will go back to a line unit and do... nothing again because we can't fly our birds every day and since I am a flyer and not a fixer I can't even PMCS them.

Yeah. I just stare at my desk but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too. I'd probably, say, in a given week, I probably do about fifteen minutes of real, actual work.

No joke, my job is very similar to Peter Gibbons', and unfortunately, my decent salary comes at the cost of tax payers. I'll have a task come in that takes me 15min followed by months of down time.
I was just about to put that quote in,

Depending on the day it could be 1-2, on others it could be 3-4.

Depends on the day for me. If i'm super busy sometimes its 15 minutes, other days 2 or so hours.

I can't stand not working at work after a while. I start to get bored and sleepy.
