Just had the 330d remaped - Love IT!!!

Hey guys, just thought i'd let you know about my experience with my latest remap, had it done by a company in the North west called remaps uk based in Cheshire. Really nice bloke, quality service and a good price, went for a middle of the road map, or what he called a blend of performance and economy, mpg is up 6mpg from standard and the thing goes like a Ferker!!!

The engine sounds totally different now, more throaty and the pulling power is unreal!

Can't talk for long as i'm of out again to take it for another blast.....and there was me thinking of selling it on! Not a chance now!! Just gutted i waited so long to get it done!

Will keep you posted on the test drives!!

+6mpg????? That sounds very impressive.

How have you arrived at such a figure?

Had the remap done a couple of weeks ago, do pretty much the same route to and from work each day, over this time my average has been steadily climbing, from 38 ish upto 44ish ...i suppose everyone drives differently, with varying conditions etc.. but had some good motorway runs which always pulls up the figures (averaged 58.8 @ 80mph north up the M6!)...main thing is it hasn't gone down, and i have been doing quite a bit of hooning!!

really impressed with it so far

Great weapon a mapped 330D, your fuel saving won't last though, you won't be able to keep your foot off the pedal

Sounds feasible Dave, my car is probably 4/5 mpg down on my last mapped car.

It's my rear tyres i'm worried about
all good fun, you got it right though, it really is a weapon, i mean it was pretty quick standard, but it is a totaly different animal now!

Well.......I want to combine collecting a CD Changer from Hemel Hempstead, an Evolve remap and then onto another place to have the changer coded into the car!

Think I'm gonna have to take two days to get this done......
