That is fab looking Zim. The 19's, the red leather and wood trim and the front aero spoiler... amazing!

That looks "reet nice". I've ordered an E91 in SG and was getting a little concern it was going to look "dull".

Has anyone else spotted the two spooky faces in the trim above the glovebox

Nice!

The anti-gatso covering on the plates works pretty well too!

its the diesel one mate, it doesn't sing!

then again i'm used to a 9000rpm honda, i never expected it to have the soundtrack... its awesome in other ways

just trying to get my head round all the iDrive stuff etc.

love everything except for the fact that in manual mode, it still changes for ya... kindof spoils the feel...

god the iPod working nice with it, and the phone... happy man

Great- & thanks for calling me 'boss'!

One quick hint for iDrive- use the shortcuts

ie to get to the last used Nav screen- just move east for a couple of secs & let go (I do that when I first start the car, to get to my 'Perspective' view); for your last Entertainment screen- just move south for a couple of secs & let go

This will work from whatever menu you are currently in- it'll save you a LOT of messing about!

Also, if you've got voice control, get used to the different commands you can give.
If you've got a compatible BT phone, you can say 'Call Jimmy Smith' & iDrive will call him, if he's stored in your phone!
You can say something like 'Station Galaxy FM' & it'll tune into that station, if it picks it up!

All the best ZiM & enjoy your new beauty!

Viv

That's good!

But I honestly couldn't tell from the photos that it isn't! Obviously the Sparkling Graphite is quite a bit darker than the Space. Lighting also makes quite a dramatic difference.

Great car ZiM. Love the aero front bumper - I may have to get this retro fitted to mine depending on the cost.

Just out of interest - when did you order yours and when did you pick it up?

I ordered my 330d SE on december 28th hoping for March 2nd collection but due to an 'engine shortage' (the dealers excuse!) I now will be getting it mid next week. Apparantly it will be at the dealers this Friday (9th).

I'm wondering if mine will have the programmable iDrive buttons which they were due to introduce soon - notice yours doesn't.

i ordered mine half way through jan, so 6 weeks wait

Are there any other changes with the later build models or is it just the extras buttons on the i-drive?

afaik: 6 programmable iDrive buttons, a chrome surround to the volume nob and a USB socket next to the aux for proper iPod integration (just missed out on that one )

thats all tho as far as i know... it bugs me a bit but hey, if you waited cuz summat good was coming up you'd never buy the car...

Si.
