Is it possibly for cobb to hack the DCT TCU to allow clutches to hold more power, adjust launch rpms, possibly allow us to build some boost on the launch? Similar to what you guys offer thw GTR owners???

Hey guys, I haven't given up on you, but I'm pretty deep in my work so I don't always get a chance to check all of the forums. Between new maps, working on ATR and ATP for the N55, finding new tables, and working on the V3 launch, there's quite a bit going on (not to mention N54 ongoing support). If you have any direct questions, you can always PM me, email us, or call us. As far as the N55 goes, we are revisiting all maps right now and are finalizing the Stage 2+ maps as well. These things take time, but we are making progress reasonably quickly. When I have a specific date, I'll let you know. Otherwise, if anyone is having any problems please get in touch with myself or one of our techs and we'll be able to help you out a lot quicker.

I'm sure there are a bunch of people who'd be happy just to have the AP work on their later DME's at all, let alone fretting over not having Stage 2 :\
I'd class myself in that group having 2 N55 vehicles with the later ECU sat in the garage, but as more and more time goes by, the less and less bothered I am about the AP. A JB4, or nothing at all, is looking more likely at the moment. |

Dinan website has a tuner that claims 38% increase in power over stock. I thought Cobb would be more than 20 HP.

https://static.cobbtuning.com/cobbtu...AccessPORT.pdf You also get all of these staged maps included on an Accessport, unlike Dinan which is a single flash done through a dealer. -Josh |

Why print gains in percentage? Actual HP numbers would be nice. |

We use percentages because they are much more accurate. All dynos are different and all cars will baseline differently. Percentage gains will be the most accurate thing to go by. If one car dynos at 300 whp stock and another dynos at 280 whp, then actual numbers don't mean much, however the percentage gains should be very similar.
If you want to leak at actual numbers from customer cars, you can always search our dyno database here: http://www.cobbtuning.com/Dyno-Database-s/70119.htm -Josh |
