After that, the IC piping was improved (complete 60mm stainless steel piping with EGR and butterfly housing bypass) followed with a little ecu tweaking.

The gearbox is just a bit sluggish on upshifting at wot because it revs pretty quick and hits the redline a lot stronger than stock, but at manual/sequential shifting it is normal.

The gearbox has over 100k miles with the torque above the manufacturer limit and never had a problem but the oil and filter is religious changed every 30k miles.

It is insane the potencial of these engines. My turbos is still stock and i can keep up already with very fast cars like a stock Porsche 996 turbo. I'm curious to see your results with the WMI.
but why tiago put 833nm on a ridicoloous 600nm gearbox?
what you need, if when you are @ full throotle you run between 4000 and 5000rpm you have "only" 700nm of maximium torque?
833nm @ medium rpm destroy gearbox ONLY..
another 535d car with 404hp , and 700nm, run fast how your car, because @ full throttle aumatic gearbox change gear @ 5000rpm, and the rpm drop down to 4000, and ri-up to 5000.
in this range , it need torque!!! not before...before destroy che gearbox..
limit your torque @ 720nm....you run faster , how now, but you give a new life for your gearbox!

He's basically asking why so much power when our boxes are rated at 600nm. Then I guess goes into the technical aspects of it lol, and suggests we should limit the power just saying haha. But in all honesty I think our boxes can handle a lot more than 600nm it just takes somone willing to find the physical limit.

in russia, a guy with 272cv tuned to 750nm has destroyed 6 gearbox automatic...
limit the torque @medium range, max 700nm ...the car and gearbox are and the performance remain the same, because when you are @ wot use only the 4000-5000rpm Range (where the nm of torque are less, max 700nm )
stop off topic: news for the meth kit?

Work in progress. I have something I need to do to my car first, but once that's done, this will happen. Working out the logistics now.

It goes above 800nm during 2800-3300rpm and 400hp during 3800-4400rpm. At 4000rpm the tq is 700nm and at 4600rpm is 600nm. There is alot of factors that can lead to a automatic gearbox failure. Even at stock form you can destroy a gearbox.

@tonyteam and tiago if not mistaken doesnt the 335d with DSC OFF DS mode M2 throw hefty torque numbers, I sure pressed my "D" on M2 from stanstill out the road and the Bastard turned into an animal had to control the oversteer by redirecting the front wheels and could leave at least a minimum of 5 feet of rubber on the road with my RENNtech flash, correct me on this also Chris or anymone

Sounds about right Axel. I always drive with traction control off and mostly in DS-- it's easier on the rear brake pads too.
